Have a jovial Xmas

The older I get, the more concerned I am that the true meaning of Xmas is getting lost.

Xmas is the day we gather with friends and family to rend the carcasses of sacrificial offerings at the pagan shrines of magical, light, and candy-bearing trees in the hope that we will once again drive out the encroaching darkness of deepest winter.

Whether you celebrate Saturnalia, Yule, Karachun, Bacchanalia, Hannukkah, Kwanzaa, or Christmas, let's all huddle in the dark and perform the rites that will bring back the sun.
